Things you don't learn in a marketing course!
With digital penetration, more data & better systems; the concoction can be overwhelming! If you're not focused on your end goals; you'll most likely end up with disconnected systems, poor user journeys & a leaky bucket (leaving money on the table).
A lot of what's really working (or not working) is being lost in all the noise online & folks entering the industry are facing the brunt. Recently, I had taken an online session for one of UpGrad's Digital Marketing batches, where I wanted to talk about some of these thought processes (or input feeders to strategies). Sadly, these thought processes are not being covered in any course; mainly because of the dynamics & iterations at a quarterly or even monthly level! Some of these complex yet simple dynamics I've explained in another post on how to create a business first digital marketing strategy.

I know many of you could have different thoughts; and hopefully in the next 3-4 quarters I'll publish a series of marketing posts basis the experiments I'm running at FusionCharts.
Feel free to comment & share your thoughts about these trends :).
