As this design was for a sports event I went with bright colours and used a dynamic typeface.
I was given the instruction to display all the information and hence I used very minimal illustrations and made more space for the details of the tournament.
The 1st poster’s colour scheme was inspired by the court mat which is commonly used in badminton tournaments.
The 2nd poster’s colour scheme was to match the jerseys given out to the participants in the tournament.
The 3rd poster’s colour scheme was requested by the client.
I tried to make the poster as dynamic as possible without sticking to a traditional style keeping in mind that it is for a very active sport.
