Three years ago, I traded my auditor title to become a marketer (I legit visualized myself Emily in Paris style — uff the aesthetics!). But never did I know I was never getting rid of spreadsheets, ROIs, CPVs, ROAS, CTRs and the constant “how viral did that go?” So same same, but different?
Turns out, the only thing that really changed was that from reading black-and-white numbers and contracts, I got to read people. I got to study people. Instead of building audit plans, I got to build strategies that influence a person’s decision-making, and that clicked for me.
In the last three years, I’ve built creator ecosystems, grown brand trust from zero to “I saw that everywhere!”, and pulled in brand campaigns, social buzz, community meetups, and a splash of PR when it mattered. All of it aimed at one thing: influencing a person’s decision-making. If you think that makes me sound like a workaholic, trust me, I’m not.
