Over a decade in media, advertising and start-ups. Here are a few things I believe Iβm decently good at.
ποΈ Content & community: Dabbled in everything from videos and creator collaborations to hosting offline events and building niche communities.
π Startups: Helping young startups prioritise and move things at speed and depth.
π¨ Branding and content marketing: Building brand love, by figuring out how can we add value to our intended audience.
π€ Team Building: Set up teams from scratch with a clear set of goals and processes.
TLDR of my Story:
* Viacom18: Hit sales hard, doing 4x targets, even while selling something I donβt entirely understand. (Colors Marathi, I don't speak Marathi!)
* Beatmap & Kommune: Got funding for "Beatmap" and rolled out 300+ events countrywide, including for Kommune. Got on stage and started training folks in storytelling.
* The Glitch & Netflix: Helped grow Netflix India's YouTube from 5M to 10M. Later, took the reins for Instagram as well.
* Glance (Inmobi): Took on Roposo's social media, switching its brand up a couple of times through their repositioning. Eventually, led overall consumer and brand marketing for them.
Currently on a career break, consulting/advising/volunteering for anybody who is building with purpose.
